I got to a point where I chose to never be a fan of horror movies despite my stamina because, I found out it always finds a way to hunt. But it got to a point where I needed to infer it, and I found out attacking it isn't the best option.
Fear is an impulse of the void, and the void is an hunter. Also nervousness can come into play in investigation or booby trap. Thus why people should stay within strongholds; otherwise deal and harvest within the void, least it roughens or saps you.
